Pay: $16.00/HR

Schedule: Full Time or Part Time - 12 Hour Shifts - AM/PM

Location: 2811 East Agritopia Loop S, Gilbert, AZ 85296

Responsibilities

  • Works with our Why & Values in mind first
  • Maintains an excellent attendance record
  • Effectively punches in and out each day with no exceptions
  • Demonstrates a high level of safety in all work practices and report any unsafe conditions and/or unsafe equipment
  • Complies with the Liv Communities uniform policy
  • Reads and documents in accordance with community's policies and procedures
  • Champions resident care as outlined in individual service plans, but not limited to:
    • Bathing
    • Dressing
    • Shaving
    • Peri-Care/Toileting
    • Assistance with feeding
  • Reads and is familiar with the Residents' Life Stories
  • Champions communication to families of residents
  • Actively involved in the vibrant living program
  • Is compliant with Liv Communities' training requirements
  • Regularly observe the resident's physical and mental condition, and report resident changes to supervisor 
  • Respect confidentiality standards while honoring resident rights
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned: Walking dogs, taking out trash, light cleaning, delivering mail, etc.  

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one-year experience in Assisted Living preferred
  • Experience working with dementia or Alzheimer's residents preferred
  • Must be able to work nights/weekends and holidays as required
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Commitment to excellence and attention to detail
  • Sufficient fluency in spoken and/or written English to safely and effectively perform the functions of your job and to understand job assignments, instructions, policies, rules, and safety-related information
  • Must be willing to receive the AZ Caregiver's certificate within first several months of start (Liv will pay for certification)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to obtain a Finger Print Clearance Card, Food Handler's Card, First Aid & CPR within first month of start
  • Pass post offer TB test
